Valeria Ramirez is Elizabeth’s Union County Conference Female Athlete of the Week.
Ramirez, a sophomore, is a two-year varsity wrestler and has shown tremendous improvement this year after a promising freshman season. She has a 7-3 this season and is currently ranked as one of the top five wrestlers in the 145-weight class in Union County.
Recently, she placed 2nd at the prestigious Queen of the East tournament. Valeria is looking forward to build on her accomplishments this season when she competes in the Union County Wrestling Championship and the NJSIAA Regional Championships.
