The Union County Championships were supposed to be contested over two days, but rain forced meet officials to condense the meet to a one-day format Thursday. Nevertheless, there were still plenty of top times, big performances and records broken at Hub Stine Field in Plainfield. Gov. Livingston sophomore Gov. Livingston broke her own meet and county record in the 800 while Elizabeth’s boys team and Union Catholic’s girls team won championships. Check out the results, stories and photos from the meet here.
