The UCC will hold its 1st Annual UCC winter pre-season sportsmanship workshop on November 16. This will be the second event of this type for their league as they held a successful learning experience to start the fall season. In an effort to promote good sportsmanship throughout the Union County Conference, the league will hold this workshop with all athletic directors, head Coaches, team leaders and select officials to discuss ways that sportsmanship can be implemented this upcoming season.
The workshop will include a welcome address and introductions, followed by a guest speaker. After the speech, the group will break out by individual sports into sessions which will be led by the UCC athletic director chair for that sport along with a lead official to discuss the topic of sportsmanship and work on a group activity. The group will then return to the gymnasium to share their thoughts on the experience and final remarks.
