Quarterback Trey Brown has been chosen as Westfield’s Union County Conference Boys Athlete of the Week
Brown, who puts team accomplishments ahead of individual stats, has led the Blue Devils to a 7-2 record this season. He has put his team on his shoulders in big spots this season, engineering four comeback victories with his arm and his legs. The 6-4, 210-pound Brown has thrown for five touchdowns and 648 yards, and he’s run for 625 yards and six touchdowns.
Brown, the son of former Westfield and Duke star and one-time New York Giants QB Dave Brown, is also a great leader off the field as his teammates look up to him for guidance and motivation.
