Shane Jackson has been selected as Roselle’s Union County Conference Boys’ Athlete of the Week.
Jackson, a senior center, was the backbone for the Roselle Rams this past season as his defensive presence protects the basket, while grabbing rebounds and leading the UCC in block shots. Jackson, who averaged 8.6 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 3.2 block per game, had a knack for coming up with the ‘Big Play’ when the Rams needed it most.
Led by Jackson, the Rams finished with a 23-5 record, and advanced to the quarterfinals of the Union County Tournament, and the Second Round of the Central Jersey, Group 2 Tournament.
