Volleyball star Samantha Janker has been chosen as Dayton’s Union County Conference Girls Athlete of the Week.
Janker, a senior, recently achieved a huge milestone when she recorded the 300th kill of her career. Janker, who is averaging six kills a game, has also compiled 269 service points and 63 aces. In addition to those stats, Janker has been on the varsity since her freshman year, and has served as a captain since her junior year.
Janker is also a star off the court.
She has served as the president of her class for all four years, and she maintains a 4.3 grade point average.
