Maximus Bonilla is Elizabeth’s Union County Conference Male Athlete of the Week
Bonilla, a senior, won the Senior Race at the Battle at the Ocean County Park Invitational in Lakewood on Friday, September 13, setting a new school record of 15:10. The previous record of 15:20 was set by Lucas Reguinho in 2022. That year, Maximus won the Sophomore Race in 16:20, setting Sophomore Class School Record.
Last year, Maximus ran a Junior Class School Record of 16:10 at the Union County Championship at Warinanco Park, making him one of the top contenders in winning the Union County Championships this upcoming season.
