Makaila Desire has bene chosen as Rahway’s Union County Conference Girls Athlete of The Week.Desire, a sophomore forward on the girls basketball team, has been a major asset to the Rahway’s basketball team.
“Not only is Makaila a leader on the court, but she’s also an honor student,” said Rahway girls basketball coach Jorge Gutierrez. “Makaila is leading the team in 3-point field goals and is averaging six steals per game. She has had a great sophomore campaign and we are excited to have her for the next two years”.
