Lucas Allan has been named Summit’s Union County Conference Male Athlete of the Week
“Lucas, a senior setter and Captain on the boys volleyball team, cares more about his teammates than he does himself,” said Summit volleyball coach John Ross. “He hates getting recognized, but loves it when his teammates find success. Secondly, he has a calm confidence. When I need a senior captain to step up and make a big play, I look to Lucas to be that person. Finally, Lucas loves to play volleyball. He has a joy and enthusiasm that is infectious. His wide grin let’s everyone know he is having fun and that in the end sports are games and games should be fun. No one deserves this recognition more than Lucas. I am a better coach for having had him as a player and a better person for having known him.”
