We have a little déjà vu going on here in Union County. For the fourth straight year the top four seeds for the boys’ and girls’ basketball Union County Tournaments advanced to the semifinals.
Also for the fourth consecutive season the Roselle Catholic girls’ are in the 4-vs.-1 semifinal. The last year the top four seeds for the boys’ and girls’ did not advance to the semifinals was 2013 when both Roselle Catholic squads – each as the top seed – were ousted by the eighth seeds in quarterfinal round play.
