Ibn McDaniels has been named Elizabeth’s Male Athlete of The Week
Ibn McDaniel, a senior football star, has been the best player for the Minutemen all season.
He had his finest game of the season to lead EHS to their 1st victory this year against arch-rival Union. The team lost every game by one score and McDaniel was determined not to let the team come up short again. As a wide receiver on offense, Ibn had 5 catches for 59 yards and 1 touchdown. As a defensive back on defense, he had 4 tackles – 3 solo, one interception that he ran back for another touchdown and a game-saving pass breakup in the endzone on the last play of the game.
