Union Catholic’s Karly Gregoire proved to be among the top liberos in the state this season. Despite strong blocking for the Vikings, Gregoire made her presence known on the defensive end for Union Catholic.
The standout was able to showcase her athletic ability, quickness and agility on the court for the Vikings. Gregoire had a 2.7 serve receive average, as she was able to get touches on every ball, showcasing her passing ability, which coach Nancy Saggio said was the best on the team.
Gregoire led the team in digs with 248. She finished the season with 136 service points, 22 aces, 10 kills and eight assists.
