Gia Pirozzi is Brearley’s Union County Conference Female Athlete of the Week.
Pirozzi, a freshman pitcher on the softball team, has had an outstanding rookie season so far for the Bears, leading, leading the squad to a division leading 7-1 record. Gia has gone 6-1 in those games, and has amassed 95 strikeouts so far this season. Gia has also been productive at the plate contributing to the Bears offense with a .300 batting average with one home run and eight runs batted in.
