Eva Puentes has been chosen as Johnson’s Union County Conference Girls Athlete of The Week.
Puentes, a senior, is a four-year varsity starter and a captain of the girls soccer team. She plays center-midfield for Johnson and steps up to the plate whenever she is needed in a different position for a new formation.
Puentes is also a three-sport athlete; she represents Johnson by being a key player on the basketball court, and she’s a veteran member on the track and field team in the spring.
