Four weeks are in the books in the 2016 varsity football season, bringing the unofficial halfway point of the regular season with most teams having played four of the eight games that will count toward the ultimate playoff picture.
Through a month of action, the biggest stories in the Mid-State 38 have been the emergence of several teams that had struggled to varying degrees in recent seasons and have begun the 2016 campaign strong, exhibiting stark turnarounds.
