Second-seeded Westfield, No. 10 in the NJ.com Top 20, defeated top-seeded Scotch Plains-Fanwood, ranked third in the state, 2-1 in the Union County Tournament final at Kean University on Friday night.
The title was Westfield’s 11th of all time and snapped a five-year winning streak in the final for Scotch Plains.
