Bailey Gold – Governor Livingston: Bailey is a junior on the Highlander Swim Team. She is the 2018 Union County Champion in the 100 Butterfly. She also set four school records at the Union County Championship in the 100 Butterfly (1st), 200 Meter Relay (2nd place), 100 Backstroke (2nd place) and 400 Free Relay Medley (3rd place).
Quinn Haddad – Governor Livingston: Quinn is a senior on the Highlander Wrestling Team. His record is currently 25-0 and he has 100 plus career wins. He is the 2018 Union County Champion in the 170 pound class.
Sophia Kudryashova – New Providence: Sophia had a huge week both personally and for New Providence swimming last week at the Union County Championships, where she won both the 100 and 200 yard freestyle events. Perhaps even more impressively, she set county records for both events. Sophia also holds the NPHS records for those events. She is undefeated in dual meet competition during the current 2018 swimming season.
Patrick Trezza – New Providence: Patrick is captain of the NPHS boys basketball team. He has helped lead the Pioneers to a strong 12-3 start to their season (8-1 in conference play). This past week, he was a major contributor in two big conference wins over Oratory Prep and Brearley, putting the Pioneers one victory away from a conference championship. Patrick led the team with seven assists in the victory over Brearley. His leadership has made him invaluable to the team both on and off the basketball court.
