Emma Hilton – Arthur L. Johnson High School: Coming into the 2019 season Emma had 40 career goals and 36 career assists for a total of 76 career points. She has led the Crusaders into the NJSIAA State Semifinals the last two seasons and hopes to carry the team to an even higher finish this year. So far this year she has nice goals and three assists in the team’s first six games. Her career totals now stand at 88 points and counting. Emma is committed to Ball State in Indiana and will play Division 1 Field Hockey for the Cardinals next season. She is a three year first team all-conference honoree; two year first team all-county and first team All- North Jersey selection was named to the first team all-state group 1 team last season.
Patrick Brennan – Arthur L. Johnson High School. Patrick is a senior captain and three year starter for the Crusaders on the Gridiron. He has become a true leader both on and off the field, excelling as both a student and athlete. As a senior, Patrick has thus far led the Crusader offensive and defensive lines throughout the season. A multi-sport athlete, Patrick also swings a heavy stick in the spring as he helped the Crusader Baseball team reach the Union County Championships this past spring while leading the Crusaders in home runs.
Erin Lay – Scotch Plains-Fanwood: Erin has had either a goal or an assist every game SPF has played in so far for three and five total, respectively. She controls the offense as center mid and plays on both offensive and defensive corners. Erin is the teams most dependable player and makes a significant impact each game it plays.
Hayden Widder – Scotch Plains-Fanwood: Hayden went 10/17 and passed for 107 yards with one TD last week. He also ran for another TD. Hayden completed the go-ahead touchdown to Christian Piesch vs. Carteret to put the Raiders ahead 19-14.
