Angela Leonardis is Roselle Park’s Union County Conference Female Athlete of the Week
Leonardis, a senior who plays first singles for the Roselle Park tennis team, has held that position for four years. She has had great seasons throughout her career, and this season has been exceptional.
Angela has a current winning record of 10-2. She had the honor of being selected as the Union County Conference Girls’ Tennis Player of the Week. As Varsity Team Captain, her outstanding leadership has guided her team to the Quarterfinal Round of the Central Jersey Group 1 State Competition and has also led herself to the Quarterfinal Round of the Union County Girls’ Tennis Tournament. Additionally, she participated in the Girls Tennis Individual State Tournament. Angela’s academics are excellent as well and she is involved in many other school activities. Angela also plays on the RPHS Girls’ Basketball and Softball teams.
