The 2017 Union County Tournament bracket has been released after Tuesday night’s seeding meeting. Westfield earns the top seed in this 18-team tournament.
Westfield will face the winner of the play-in game between 16th-seeded Dayton and 17th-seeded Cranford in the tournament’s first round on Oct. 17. Second-seeded Union Catholic will await the winner of the other play-in game between 18th-seeded Plainfield and 15th-seeded Johnson.
After the two play-in games, the rest of the teams will begin play on Oct. 17 and the final is currently slated for Oct. 28.
