If there was any question if Nick Richards was deserving of his McDonald’s All-American status, the Patrick School big man provided an answer on Saturday night and may have ended the No. 1 team debate at the same time.
Richards was utterly dominant with 24 points and 15 rebounds for Patrick School, No. 1 in the NJ.com Top 20, throwing down dunk after dunk as the Celtics took out No. 2 Linden, 58-44, at Kean University to win the Union County Tournament for the fourth time in five seasons.
