AJ Altobelli is Union Catholic’s Union County Conference Male Athlete of the Week
Altobelli, a senior point guard on the basketball team, became the 11th boy in Union Catholic history to score 1,000 points in his career earlier this month when he led the Vikings to a tough road victory over Elizabeth on Feb. 4 at the Dunn Center.
Altobelli, who has also racked up more than 500 assists in his career, has been the catalyst for the Vikings this season, leading the team to a 15-8 record and a current ranking of No. 11 in the state.
