Brianna Concepcion is Elizabeth’s Union County Conference Female Athlete of the Week
Concepcion, a sophomore, has scored five goals and assisted on three others this season.
On Tuesday September 24th, “Breezy” as she is commonly called by her teammates, scored a goal that made history for the Elizabeth girls soccer program when she stepped up to the penalty spot and calmly scored a well placed goal beating the diving Westfield keeper in sudden death overtime. That memorable goal gave the Elizabeth a first ever win against powerhouse Westfield, who entered the match ranked 4th in the state by NJ.com. Brianna is on pace to finish among some of the top goal scorers in the entire state of New Jersey.
