Kent Place’s Athlete of the Week is basketball star Sarah Stavrovich.
The senior guard and two time captain has played a pivotal role for the Dragons this season.
This year, she has really stepped up her game, averaging 12.5 points per game, 4.9 assists per game, 4.4 rebounds per game, and 3.8 steals per game, including a career high 22 points on two occasions against Union and Rahway.
These stats are all well above her career averages, but what really elevates her game is her tenacity and toughness on the court, and her leadership both on and off the court. The Dragons look forward to tournament time with a true leader in Sarah at the helm.
