Jimmy Wischusen is Union Catholic’s Male Athlete of the Week
At the Union County Cross-Country Championships, the University of Virginia-bound Wiscushen led the charge for the Vikings with a masterful and electrifying performance by stopping the clock at a mind-numbing 15:12 to destroy the Warinanco Park course record and lead the Vikings to a course record average of 15:46. Wischusen fueled a 1-3-4-5-13 scoring combination for the Vikings, who defeated Westfield, 26-35, to win their fourth straight county championships.
