Tennis star Isaiah Dore has been named Plainfield’s Union County Conference Male Athlete of the Week
Dore, a senior, has advanced to the semifinal round of the Union County First Singles Tennis Tournament three straight years, and placed third in the county tournament last month. He also advanced to the second round of NJSIAA State Tournament last year, and qualified for the State Tournament again this year.
As a sophomore, his his regular season record was 8-2. Then he went 10-1 in the regular season last year, and he was 13-0 in the regular this season this spring.
