Volleyball star Ashlyn Berns has been chosen as Union’s Union County Conference Girls Athlete of the Week.
Ashlyn is the senior Captain of the Union High School volleyball team, and she currently has a 4.8 weighted GPA.
This season, she leads the team with 105 service points, 28 aces and 316 assists. According to NJ Power Ranking on Yahoo.com, Ashlyn was the 18th ranked girls volleyball player coming into the season. In her AP Government class she worked one on one with a member of our Township Committee on Government Day. She plans on majoring in Engineering in college.
